2. General information
We treat personal data confidentially and in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Personal data means any data that can identify you personally.
You can generally use this website without registering. If you use the waitlist form or contact us by email, we process the data you provide to handle your request.
3. Hosting and technical delivery
This website is hosted through Cloudflare Pages. When the website is accessed, technically necessary access data is processed, for example IP address, date and time of the request, browser and device information, referrer URL, and the requested page. This data is necessary to deliver the website securely, reliably, and without errors.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure and reliable provision of this website.
4. Waitlist form
If you use the waitlist form, we process your email address and the problem description you provide. We use this data to evaluate demand, prioritize a potential product build, and respond to your request.
Requests are submitted through a Cloudflare Pages Function. We use Resend to send an email notification when email delivery is configured, which means the form data and technical sending data may be transmitted to Resend.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your request relates to pre-contractual measures, and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR based on our legitimate interest in efficient request handling and demand validation.
5. Product analytics with PostHog
We use PostHog Cloud EU to understand how visitors use this website and whether there is demand for DNSTimeMachine. PostHog may process usage events, page views, clicks, referrer data, device and browser information, session replay data, console logs, and form interaction events.
When you submit the waitlist form, we also send a server-side PostHog event with your email address, problem description, page URL, referrer, and session identifiers where available. We use this to connect demand signals with the submitted request.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is validating demand for the product idea, improving the website, and understanding whether the offer is relevant to visitors.
6. Storage period
We store personal data only as long as necessary for the respective purpose. Waitlist request data is deleted once the request has been fully handled or is no longer needed for demand validation, unless legal retention obligations or legitimate interests prevent deletion.
7. Your rights
Within the legal requirements, you have rights to access, rectification, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection to certain processing. If processing is based on consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time with effect for the future.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. For privacy questions, contact us at hi@schub.tech.
